A forum for academic leaders in electrical engineering and allied technologies

Professors and Heads of Electrical Engineering (PHEE) is a Discipline-based community of the Engineering Professors’ Council (EPC). Its aim is to act as a forum for the exchange and dissemination of information and to promote issues of interest to, and concern of, academic leaders  in departments of Electrical Engineering* in universities in the UK.

PHEE works with universities, industry and the professional bodies to promote and support the development of teaching, research and the profession.

We welcome new members so please do contact us.

*The term Electrical Engineering subsumes Electronic, Computing and Communication and related disciplines.

The PHEE Committee consists of a Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and members drawn from across universities in the UK.

The Committee welcomes new members: please contact us if you are interested in getting involved.

The Committee normally meets four times a year, two of which are during the main annual events as follows:

  • January – At the PHEE Annual Conference
  • April – At the EPC Annual Conference
