toolkitOur “toolkits” are a developing portal into useful resources and links provided by the range of other organisations in our network.  Please do feel free to add to it with links and resources you’ve found particularly helpful by contacting us or posting a comment on our Forum.

Recently added toolkits:

  • Engineering Ethics: This toolkit is a major initiative supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering supporting engineering educators to embed learning about ethical practice better into their teaching. It consists of advice articles, teaching resources like case studies, a curriculum map and other resources that will evolve over time.
  • Intellectual Property for Universities: The IPO has provided us with a guide to patents, trade marks, copyright or design: how intellectual property applies to the work of engineering academics.
  • Degree apprenticeships: To support understanding and delivery of degree apprenticeships. This is a companion to the EPC’s ongoing policy work on this topic. This included the publication of our consultation document Designing apprenticeships for success.
  • Contextual Learning: To support working with employers and students in establishing successful placement programmes. Includes resources for students to maximise the value of placements.

And don’t forget you can also access our range of useful policy and contextual papers from government departments and other organisations in our network.
