EAN Congress 23: New models in curriculum: values led engineering

Steve Bullock 12 months ago / 10910 views
Traditionally, Engineering courses have tended, like so many other vocational courses, to focus on the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for a career as an engineer. This session considered how we should embed a greater sense of purpose into our higher education courses. We want to create a generation of engineers with a mission to make the world a better place and to tackle the climate emergency.
  • How do we go about adapting the curriculum to promote values-led engineering?
  • How do we assure the quality of such an education?
