Traditionally, Engineering courses have tended, like so many other vocational courses, to focus on the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for a career as an engineer. This session considered how we should embed a greater sense of purpose into our higher education courses. We want to create a generation of engineers with a mission to make the world a better place and to tackle the climate emergency.
