The 2015 AAU Committee Meeting will be held on the 21st of May from 10am-midday in 2S601 at UWE, Bristol. Lunch will be from midday and the AAU Seminar will start from 1pm onwards in the same room.

Parking spaces 4-13 in car park 19 have been reserved for Committee members, the code for the barrier into Car Park 19 is 2988#.

The correct entrance is East Gate and the following link may be useful to help findĀ Car Park 19 and S blockĀ  – there is a downloadable version of the map in the link.

The Student Conference & the John Barnes Trophy Competition will be held at the Association of Aerospace Universities (AAU) HQ at the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) at Cranfield after the AAU Committee Meeting and AGM on Friday 24 Oct.

Entries to the Conference are still encouraged.Ā These may be at final year BEng/BSc, MEng (whether penultimate or final year) or taught MSc level.

The winner will receive a certificate and a prize of Ā£500. The two runners up will each receive a prize of Ā£300.
On the day, each presenter will be given 25 minutes, including questions, to present their project. A Panel, drawn from AAU members, will then award the certificate and prizes to the winning student and runners up.

The Aerospace Sectoral Group Event by the Engineering Professorsā€™ Council andĀ the Flight Simulation and Universities Seminar by RAeSā€™s Flight Simulation Group will be held, along withĀ the next AAU Committee Meeting, on Tuesday 15th AprilĀ Ā in the Harrison Hughes Building at Liverpool University.

There will be welcome refreshments at 10:00 am before the start of the Committee meeting at 10:30 am. The seminar will commence after lunch.

The event is free of charge, but please email Dr Mark White (mdw@liverpool.ac.uk) asap if you would like to give a presentation during the afternoon seminar and of your intention to attend for catering purposes.
