House of Lords Committee launches Call for Evidence to mark World Autism Acceptance Day

The EPC is preparing an executive response to the House of Lords on the Autism Act 2009 Committee call for evidence, drawing on our work and expertise in neurodiversity. We are inviting individuals and organisations to share their experiences and insights to help shape our submission.

We are particularly interested in written evidence on

  • Public understanding and acceptance of autistic people
  •  Assessment, diagnosis, and post-diagnostic support
  • Education, healthcare, community support, and employment
  • Support for autistic people in contact with the justice system
