Join us on the 7-9th June 2022 at UWE, Bristol for the EPC’s Annual Congress, ‘A Better World’, with over 30 speakers presenting keynote talks and panel discussions on engineering ethics, sustainability and recovery.

The EPC is delighted to announce the annual Recruitment & Admissions Forum, a web series again this year, with the theme ‘Doing it differently’. Building on our popular webcasts over the last 18 months, we are offering you three distinct online events – totally free to members – during November and December. As always, our line-up of speakers is second to none.

To be held online at 1100 British Summer Time on Friday 22nd October.
This will be followed by student presentations starting at 12 o’clock noon.
Zoom is probably the most likely video telepresence software platform we will be using, and the uniform resource locator will be made available asap. Please click to view the agenda.

The Sixteenth International Conference of Multiphysics will be held virtually on 9-10 December 2021.
Agile engineering education: Developing the next generation of engineering innovators, experts and leaders for our ever-evolving world.

The GEDC Industry Forum brings together engineering education leaders from around the world with senior executives from leading industrial and technology companies in a unique, interactive format. From socially conscious engineering to ethics, micro-credentials to rapid innovation, the themes and content will reflect the most important issues of the moment, allowing participants to design the way forward together. This event is designed specifically for Engineering Deans, Department Heads and equivalents to interact with peers and industry leaders. We encourage relevant EPC members to consider this opportunity to engage and share best practise within a global community. Find out more and request an invitation.

The Annual Conference this year is planned (COVID permitting) as an in-person event on Thursday 18th November (all day, including evening dinner) and Friday 19th November (morning, and lunch) on the theme of ‘Civil Engineering – Leading Sustainable Change’. Speakers from industry and academia will inform a debate between the participants over the two days about the nature of the climate emergency that we face and the best ways in which we can prepare our graduates to contribute to its mitigation.

Follow the link Association of Civil Engineering Departments (ACED) Conference 2021 | Anglia Ruskin University for the booking page. There is a discount of 50% full price for a second person from the same institution. There is a recommended hotel for which a discount code will be provided on making a conference booking. Other hotel options are also given. Please distribute this announcement to any colleagues who may be interested.

As a quick reminder, the conference is planned to take place face to face, but if you have difficulties with that in the prevailing COVID environment, please feel free to feed back to us at acedadmin@epc.ac.uk so that we can do the best we can to design the event for maximum participation.
