Teaching internships and teacher training adviser services
As part of the DfE’s Get into teaching Initiative, applications for teaching internships for undergraduates are open. Internships are open to students studying for a degree and interested in a career in teaching. Internships last 3 weeks, start in June and interns will be paid £300 a week.
Additionally, DfE offers a teacher training adviser service, this free service provides students who are thinking about choosing teaching as a career or those who are ready to apply with one-to-one support.
