I am part of a small team running a QAA funded project on embedding experiential learning into (particularly) STEM programmes Incorporating experiential learning fully into STEM education - A toolkit for enriching the student experience (qaa.ac.uk). We are hoping to run a number of online focus groups to explore the area in a little more depth and we would be most grateful interested members of the EPC were able to take part in one of these activities. The focus groups will run for approximately 1 hour each and be conducted via Teams. Discussion will be around your experiences of embedding experiential learning into programmes: the benefits and difficulties; the important scaffolding to make it work; student responses and vision/ambition for the future. Your experience and understanding will be vital in making these activities a success and informing the debate going forward. We have full ethical approval for the work and will forward the relevant documentation for those who express an interest in attending to ensure that you are clear on the commitment before signing up. The schedule of potential focus groups is set out below and you can either respond to this thread or use the doodle poll link https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/enNQZmle to select those for with you are available.
If you prefer not to attend but have thoughts you'd wish to share please post them in this discussion.
Thanks in anticipation.
