Institution of Mechanical Engineers
Each year, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) supports the educational and development needs of students and graduates with scholarships and awards totalling £400,000. This includes a large number of undergraduate studentships in addition to scholarships for those who have done an apprenticeship and are now doing a degree. There are also smaller awards, available on an ongoing basis, to support group projects and overseas study. A range of valuable postgraduate awards is available to support either research or other postgraduate study. Some are for members of the IMechE but others are open to anyone.
