Bid to host EPC Congress in 2024

Proposals are invited from higher education Engineering departments to host the Engineering Professors’ Council Annual Congress in 2024. The deadline for submissions is Monday, 31st October 2022.
It was fantastic to be able to host the EPC Congress at UWE Bristol in 2022.  It provided the School of Engineering with the opportunity to showcase facilities, including those for teaching, research and outreach.  Being the host enabled many UWE Bristol colleagues to attend and contribute to sessions, and has laid the groundwork for future collaborations particularly in engineering education and outreach.  It was particularly positive to have early career colleagues and students in attendance, with a substantial proportion of these being local.  Feedback from these was that it had exposed them to new ideas and made them feel very proud of their university and course.  Senior managers including the Head of College and the Vice Chancellor took up invitations to attend sessions during the Congress which has raised the profile of Engineering within the University.
