The Developing Business Aware Academics (DBAA) team are co-hosting a researcher challenge event with Babcock on Monday 2nd March 2026, at the Innovation Hub in Exeter. Full details are here.
Babcock has identified 4 challenges that require expertise in Mechatronics, Physics, Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Researchers and PhD students with relevant expertise are welcome to attend the event. There is no cost to attend and lunch, alongside cakes from the exploding bakery, will be provided. The DBAA Team can cover transport costs for attending researchers.
At the event, researchers will get the opportunity to network with Babcock, and via facilitated round table discussions, explain how their research could help address Babcock’s given challenges. It is a great opportunity that could result in some very tangible outcomes.
