ACED Annual Conference 2024

Thursday 5th September and Friday 6th September

Ulster University, Belfast

If you are involved in delivering civil engineering and related degree programmes or are considering launching new programmes or seeking accreditation for the first time, we hope you will be able to join us for our Annual Conference 2024, our first since 2021. You do not need to be a member of ACED or the EPC to attend the conference.

We will discuss and share best practice in current areas of interest to the civil engineering community and the HE sector more widely, such as the influence of AI on our teaching and our assessment, and the inclusion of EDI and Security considerations in our degrees. We will also have updates from the JBM and other relevant PEIs.

The conference will take place in Belfast over two days (Thurs-Fri) in early September, and to maximise the benefit of your travel, there will be an optional day tour of the Belfast area on the Saturday, returning to the Airport.

We have kept the cost of the conference low and have significant discounts for second and third delegates from the same institution.
