Engineering Skills: Perkins Review Progress Report published

Last year, The Perkins Review of Engineering Skills was launched. This report aimed to unite educators and employers within the engineering field to improve the supply and quality of engineering skills.

A year later, the feedback has surpassed expectations, leading to the formation of numerous new collaborations across Government and the profession to advance a consistent programme of work.

Professor Perkins’ progress report is available from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, click here to access this resource. A fuller account of the progress of the Perkins Task and Finish Groups is available from Education for Engineering and can be accessed here.

The Engineering Professors’ Council leads the work, on behalf of Education for Engineering, on postgraduate specialist skills.
