IMechE scholarships and studentships

Institution of Mechanical Engineers

Each year, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) supports the educational and development needs of students and graduates with scholarships and awards totalling £400,000.  This includes a large number of undergraduate studentships in addition to scholarships for those who have done an apprenticeship and are now doing a degree. There are also smaller awards, available on an ongoing basis, to support group projects and overseas study.  A range of valuable postgraduate awards is available to support either research or other postgraduate study. Some are for members of the IMechE but others are open to anyone.   The IMechE is keen to widen the pool of applicants for these prizes. A summary has also been made available to members: funding opportunities. For full details: Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
