Analysis of the DLHE statistics published by HESA this week shows that following the 2008/09 “high” of 11.7% unemployment for first degree graduates across all engineering subjects, the rate for 2013/14 had nearly halved (6%).
PhD engineers seem in particularly high demand with unemployment levels being at or close to 0% for the last 3 years.
