Access to the resources listed here is restricted to members of the Engineering Professors’ Council and is password-protected.  Remember, if the university for which you work is a member, so are you !  Please contact us if your institution is a member and have mislaid your password  – or log on to the Members’ database (see sidebar).  While the Engineering Professors’ Council (EPC) is an exempt organisation in terms of registering with the Office of the Information Commissioner for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, we seek to comply with its principles.  For some EPC services there is a need to use personal data so that we can get in touch or provide the information and services connected with your institutional subscription.  Click for full details of our Fair Processing Notice.

Members may access a host of data, in digestible form, relating to the range of metrics that are used in university rankings, the REF, and departmental and university-wide planning, focusing specifically on the engineering disciplines (reported by JACS Code or Cost Centre) and allowing local comparison with national, regional and Mission Group averages.  These include student numbers and applications trends, staff numbers, progression trends, income, costs, employment rates, NSS scores etc.

Also available, copies of the latest infoDigest (a round-up of all the recent news on engineering education and research, funding, activities of our members etc) here as well as a range of useful policy papers and other publications from Government and from around our network.

Our “toolkit” is intended to be an edited portal into useful resources and links provided by the range of other organisations in our network.  Please do feel free to add to it with links and resources you’ve found particularly helpful by contacting us or posting a comment on our Forum.

And if you can’t make it to our events, you can also be able to download the presentations and papers here. (Congress downloads are available in the EPC Publications section of this website).

Please check back regularly for updates or follow us on Twitter, Linked-in and JISCmail.
